2025-27 Project Proposals

Submit Your Proposal for the 25-27 Biennium Funding Cycle!

December 15, 2024

If you are interested in partnering with MCREN, we want to know!

MCREN partners with regional educators and districts to explore and innovate solutions that improve conditions for those closest to the work. When you partner with us, you access coaching, professional networks, technical assistance and funding. Funding can be used for a wide range of activities and resources needed to bring teams of educators together to design, implement and sustain solutions to local and regional problems of practice. You can visit our website to learn about projects MCREN has sponsored this school year.

MCREN will soon begin accepting project proposals from local teams of educators, school districts, ESDs and community partners for the 2025-27 biennium. Now is the time to start thinking of strategies or ideas that support at least one area along the EAC Educator Career Continuum:

In addition to reviewing the region’s recruitment and retention data, MCREN is conducting a regional engagement process to better understand the experience of Multnomah and Clackamas County educators. We are facilitating thought collectives specific to novice administrators, teachers of color, administrators of color, special ed educators, and paraprofessionals. If you are interested in participating in these thought collectives, please click here to express interest. Our Coordinating Body, which contains representatives from K-12 districts, higher education, and community partners, will establish and guide our regional priorities based on what we learn.

We will communicate our 2025-27 regional priorities and criteria for funding as well as begin accepting project proposals in late January 2025. First round submissions will be due on or before Friday, March 7th, 2025.

MCREN can assist you with developing your project’s Professional Learning Plan (PLP) to identify short and long term outcomes. If you would like to connect with us to learn more or to begin the conversation around your project, please contact:
