New Teacher Mentoring
Problem of Practice
What mentoring models most effectively support educators in their development towards improved instructional strategies? What impact does mentoring have in meeting the actual needs of novice classroom based educators?
Overview
The Regional Mentoring Program supports first and second-year educators in public schools in Clackamas and Multnomah counties with their professional development and personal growth. We work alongside schools to help educators thrive as lifelong learners and practitioners and foster a culture of collaboration, resilience, and excellence, where every educator feels valued and equipped to make a lasting impact in the lives of their students. We support general education educators, as well as Career Technical Education educators, and educators in the Life Enrichment Education Program.
