Elevate the Voice of Multnomah & Clackamas County Educators!
The Coordinating Body (CB) is a diverse team of Pre-K to Post Secondary educators responsible for representing the experiences, priorities and needs across Multnomah and Clackamas County school districts.
Members of the CB play a leadership role in advancing professional learning, communities of practice and innovation aligned to needs within our region, including establishment of MCREN funding priorities.
We are seeking individuals in licensed, classified and administrative roles whom:
- Currently work for the following school districts: Reynolds, Gresham-Barlow, Riverdale, Colton, and Estacada.
- Are committed to equity and creating the conditions for all educators and students to thrive.
- Are willing to be a connector between your organization and ours, and will be an ambassador for MCREN.
- Have a commitment to action and ongoing learning.
- Are widely trusted; can present the unvarnished truth in a helpful manner; keeps confidences; takes responsibility.
- Are willing to hold a broad perspective and discuss multiple aspects and impacts of issues.
- Are an effective problem solver who uses rigorous logic to solve difficult problems; look beyond the obvious and doesn’t stop at the first answers.
The Coordinating Body convenes in a combination of virtual and in-person events. Substitute reimbursement is provided when needed.
