Healthy Cross Cultural Teams Pre K-12
A No-Cost Summer Workshop for Educators in Multnomah & Clackamas Counties
Educators need systematic ways to engage each other on how culture and race shape all aspects of their work—from curriculum and instruction to assessment, feedback, family and community relationships, and cross-cultural collaboration with colleagues.
This week-long, credit-optional workshop for school-based Pre K-12 educators will help individuals and teams examine their positionality and racial socialization through critical reflection. Participants will explore how racial identity development and cultural literacy strengthen relationships with colleagues, students, and communities, and build skills for disrupting inequitable systems through cross-cultural solidarity.
