Meet Megan Lee, Strategic Partnership Manager
Happy Spring!
I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself as we look towards the end of the school year. My name is Megan Lee, and I am the Strategic Partnership Manager for MCREN. I came on board at the end of January, and have been spending the past couple of months learning and listening to what our organization is doing, what’s working for this community of educators, and looking at areas of opportunity we may have in order to serve you better.
We’ve had an exciting year providing professional development opportunities for educators across Multnomah and Clackamas counties. From mentoring to climate and culture work to transformational leadership offerings, MCREN has helped to develop skills and strategies for thousands of educators to improve their success and job satisfaction.
That’s an incredible start.
But we’re not just a professional development organization! We want to create networks within our region, and provide avenues for districts to move the work beyond our walls. We aim to bring our educational community together to remove barriers and deepen their impact with our support, to provide resources, and to collaborate with folx who have similar priorities in order to create lasting change.
Next year our focus will shift. There will be quarterly gatherings to talk together and learn more about what the other districts in our area are doing, to find out what matters to them, and to learn how best we can help. We will be actively bridging the gap between skill development and design teams across our region, bringing in experts to help when we need them, and streamlining our process for getting projects up and off the ground.
Your priorities are our priorities, and I would love the opportunity to meet you! Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me with any questions, concerns, ideas, or feedback. I can be reached by phone at 503-791-0143 or by email at megan@mcren.org.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours in health with gratitude,
Megan Lee
