Join our Mentor Collaborative to develop professional skills to mentor new educators!
Calling all Educator Mentors, and aspiring Mentors!
Delve into equity-based mentoring practices in the Mentor Collaborative, a no-cost, professional learning series to develop professional skills to mentor new educators, using a responsive growth-oriented approach!
Participants will learn about responsive, growth-oriented approaches to mentoring/coaching, to build or deepen skills in facilitating conversations, and to collaborate with educators in our region around research-informed practices that best meet the needs of the educators we work with. Attendees from the region (Multnomah and Clackamas counties) will receive reimbursement for substitute costs to their respective district as needed for in-person events.
Our gatherings will take place on the following dates:
August 24, 4:00 – 6:00pm (Kickoff / Social Optional and encouraged!)
September 26 & 27, 9:00 – 3:00pm (In-person)
October 10, 4:00 – 6:00pm (Virtual)
November 7, 4:00 – 6:00pm (Virtual)
December 12, 4:00 – 6:00pm (Virtual)
January 23, 4:00 – 6:00pm (Virtual)

April 9, 4:00 – 6:00pm (Virtual)
May 21, 9:00 – 3:00pm (In-person)
We ask that participants attend all of the events, although we understand if things come up!
